| Reverse description | A detailed frontal architectural view of the Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki) in Warsaw occupies the center of the field, depicting the neoclassical facade of the building with its colonnade, pediment, and flanking wings rendered in fine relief. Stylized clouds appear in the upper field above the structure. The curved legend 'TEATRU WIELKIEGO' arcs along the upper periphery, while '150 LAT' (150 Years) appears in large characters in the lower field. The word 'PRÓBA' (Trial/Pattern) is inscribed between the building and the lower legend, identifying this piece as a trial strike. The design was engraved by Ewa Olszewska-Borys. |
