Reverse description The central vignette on the reverse is a large intaglio rendering of the Order of the Cross of Grunwald, a gold-toned Maltese cross with a shield bearing two crossed swords at its center, set against a finely executed multicolor guilloche background of radiating wave patterns in teal and ochre. The denomination 50 appears at upper right within a decorative frame, and the large cursive NBP monogram is printed to the lower right. The full denomination PIĘĆDZIESIĄT ZŁOTYCH runs along the lower left, with the legal tender clause in small capitals along the very bottom edge.
