| Reverse description | Central field features a tall multi-tiered pagoda — the Ci'en Pagoda (慈恩塔) at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭) in Taiwan — depicted in fine relief rising above a rolling mountainous landscape. Stylized clouds are engraved in the upper field to either side of the pagoda's upper stories. To the right of the tower, a vertical two-column inscription reads 日月潭 / 鳳凰塔 identifying the scenic location. The denomination 50元 is inscribed in the lower field beneath the landscape. |
