| Reverse description | Five polychrome enamelled figures from the Peking Opera production 'Yang Men Nü Jiang' (杨门女将, 'Women Generals of the Yang Family') are depicted in full costume across the field, rendered in vivid applied colour against the mirror-like silver ground. The figures wear elaborate traditional theatrical costumes and headdresses, with the central character bearing a ceremonial banner inscribed with the character 杨. The legend 中国京剧艺术 (Chinese Peking Opera Art) is engraved in the upper left field, and the title 杨门女将 appears in the upper right. The denomination 50元 is inscribed in the lower right field. |
