| Obverse description | The obverse presents a vignette of a traditional Chinese temple gateway (pailou) set within a landscaped courtyard, rendered in fine line engraving against a light olive-green guilloche underprint. The denomination 伍拾圓 (Fifty Yuan) is inscribed in large Chinese characters within a decorative floral cartouche to the right, flanked by vertical denomination panels at each corner. The bank title 中州農民銀行 appears across the top, with a date inscription and two red seal stamps visible in the lower portion of the note. |
