| Obverse description | Central vignette presents the ten-story stone pagoda of Tapkol Park (Wonaksa Temple) in Seoul, rendered in fine intaglio line work against a lightly shaded landscape background. The denomination '50' appears in large numerals at left and right within ornate guilloche panels, with the Korean inscription '오십원' (Fifty Won) to the right of the vignette. A red seal impression of the Bank of Korea is affixed to the lower right, and the header '한국은행권' runs across the upper portion of the note. |
