| Obverse description | The Mongolian state emblem, rendered in high relief, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The emblem depicts the traditional soyombo symbol surmounting a circular ornament, flanked by stylised wings and resting on a lotus base with a dharma wheel at its centre. The legend MONGOLIA arcs along the upper right periphery in Latin script, while the Mongolian script inscription reading 'ᠮᠤᠩᠭᠤᠯ ᠤᠯᠤᠰ' (Mongol Uls) runs vertically along the right field.
