Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of Holland occupies the central field, flanked on either side by the divided denomination expressed as 50 Ss. The date appears in the lower portion of the design along with the mint privy mark. The circumferential legend KONINGRIJK HOLLAND arcs across the upper field, while the full inscription encircles the armorial device. The overall composition is characteristic of early nineteenth-century Dutch heraldic coinage.
