| Obverse description | The face of this emergency fiscal emission note is dominated by a large circular violet rubber overstamp reading VALE POR / CINCUENTA SOLES / 1881 / EMISIÓN FISCAL, applied over the original 5 Incas substrate note. The underlying design retains a central horizontal cartouche with the legend CINCO INCAS flanked by large numeral V medallions at left and right, within an ornate lathe-work border. Two manuscript signature lines appear in the lower portion, captioned El Secretario de Hacienda y Comercio at left and El Presidente de la Junta Fiscal at right. |
