Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uzbekistan occupies the central field, depicting a Humo bird with outspread wings set against a radiant sun, flanked by cotton bolls on the left and wheat ears on the right, with a ribbon bearing the inscription OʻZBEKISTON at the base. A six-pointed star surmounts the wreath at the top. The circular legend OʻZBEKISTON MARKAZIY BANKI runs around the periphery, separated by dot borders, with the date 2002 inscribed in the lower exergue between two dots.
