| Obverse description | Central field features the national coat of arms of Uganda, depicting a kob antelope and a grey crowned crane as supporters flanking a shield bearing a sun motif, with a representation of the River Nile in the lower portion. The shield is surmounted by crossed spears and the supporters stand on a grassy mound. A ribbon scroll at the base carries the national motto.
