Obverse description Central field features a seven-branched menorah (Menorah) on a pedestal, flanked by Hebrew lettering below. Surrounding the menorah, a wreath of olive branches frames a ring of twelve roundels, each bearing a symbolic emblem representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel. The denomination '50 SHEKEL' is inscribed in the upper field above the menorah. A beaded border runs along the coin's outer rim.
