Obverse description Central field features the denomination 五十錢 (50 Sen) in large vertical kanji characters, with the badge or mon of Aisei-en displayed at the top within a circular device. Flanking legends reading 長嶋愛生園 (Nagashima Aisei-en) and 内用通 (for internal use) appear to the right and left respectively.
