Reverse description Three-quarter right-facing crowned effigy of Duke Rudolf IV of Austria, known as 'Rudolf the Founder', depicted wearing an ornate gothic crown with fleur-de-lis finials and beaded detailing. The portrait, rendered in high relief after a medieval source, shows the duke with a short beard and draped collar. The surrounding circular legend reads '1365 UNIVERSITÄT WIEN 1965' in the upper arc and 'RUDOLF DER STIFTER' in the lower arc, commemorating the 600th anniversary of the founding of the University of Vienna.
