| Obverse description | A large central vignette of a stylised sunflower in golden-orange and brown tones dominates the face, set against a light blue guilloche underprint with wave patterns. To the left, an intaglio vignette of a bird-of-paradise appears within a decorative cartouche, while the denomination '50' is repeated at the corners and the value 'LIMA PULUH RUPIAH' appears in a panel to the right.
