Obverse description Central device depicts the Lion Capital of Ashoka (national emblem of India), rendered in high relief, with four lions atop an abacus bearing a dharma chakra (wheel) and the motto 'Satyameva Jayate' (Truth Alone Triumphs) inscribed in Devanagari script below the emblem.
