| Obverse description | Central field features the national coat of arms of Nepal, depicting the Himalayan peaks above a green landscape, flanked by rhododendron flowers and a cow and pheasant as national symbols, with a white banner below. The denomination रू ५० (Rs 50) appears beneath the arms in Devanagari script. A circular Devanagari legend surrounds the central device reading 'राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा संग्रहालय' (National Numismatic Museum) at top and 'स्वर्ण जयन्ती २०१९-२०६९' (Golden Jubilee 2019-2069 BS) at bottom. The rim is decorated with a continuous beaded border. |
