| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese yantra-style geometric design divided into a grid of compartments by raised linear borders, with the royal name and titles of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev inscribed in Devanagari script across the panels. Auspicious symbols occupy the corner and side cartouches, including a sun, a crescent moon, and floral motifs, while a small central roundel bears an additional royal device. The Bikram Sambat date 2063 appears in the lower register, and the legend श्री ५ महाराजाधिराज is distributed across the upper panels. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded outer border. |
