| Obverse description | Traditional Nepali yantra (sacred geometric grid) design occupying the central field, divided into compartments bearing the royal name and titles of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. A small royal cypher or symbol appears at the centre of the grid. The design is framed by a beaded border running along the rim, with decorative floral or foliate elements at the corners of the central panel. The inscription reads 'श्री श्री श्री ५ ज्ञानेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाह देव' distributed across the compartments of the yantra, with the Vikram Samvat date in the lower panels. |
