Obverse description Traditional Nepali yantra (sacred geometric grid) design occupying the central field, divided into compartments bearing the royal name and titles of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. A small royal cypher or symbol appears at the centre of the grid. The design is framed by a beaded border running along the rim, with decorative floral or foliate elements at the corners of the central panel. The inscription reads 'श्री श्री श्री ५ ज्ञानेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाह देव' distributed across the compartments of the yantra, with the Vikram Samvat date in the lower panels.
