| Obverse description | Central field features the national emblem of Pakistan — a crescent moon and five-pointed star — rendered in bold relief. Flanking the lower portion of the central device are two stylized wheat ears curving upward from the base, their tips extending to either side of the field. The Urdu legend reading 'Government of Pakistan' arcs across the upper field, with the denomination '50' appearing to the right and the word 'Rupee' in Urdu script to the left. The date 1997 is inscribed in the lower exergue in Western-Arabic numerals. The coin is bordered by a continuous toothed rim. |
