| Obverse description | At center, the Lion Capital of Ashoka — India's national emblem — depicted in high relief, showing three lions passant guardant atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra flanked by a horse and a bull. Beneath the emblem, the national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) is inscribed in Devanagari script, followed by the large denomination numeral '50' in the lower field.
