| Obverse description | The aluminium bronze centre features the Russian State emblem in the form of a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, each head crowned, set against a plain field. The copper-nickel outer ring bears the Cyrillic legend '50 РУБЛЕЙ 1994г.' along the upper arc and 'БАНК РОССИИ' along the lower arc, with the mint mark 'ЛМД' positioned to the lower right of the central device. A small engraver's mark appears below the eagle in the centre field. |
