| Obverse description | Central field features the national coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus — a sun rising over the horizon above a green meadow, flanked by floral ornaments and a ribbon in the national colours, surmounted by a five-pointed star — set against a mirror-polished gold field. A small inset diamond is embedded at the centre of the coat of arms. Part of Belarus's long-running animals of the forest series, this issue belongs to a broader program the National Bank launched in the early 2000s to produce small-format gold collector coins with inset stones. The 0.8mm diamond is set as the eye of the animal — a detail that sounds gimmicky but was executed with enough precision that the series built a genuine secondary market among thematic collectors in Eastern Europe and Russia.
KM#286 had a reported mintage of 5,000 pieces.
