| Reverse description | The reverse reproduces the iconic design of the Soviet gold Tchervonets of 1923, depicting a striding male peasant sower in three-quarter view, scattering grain from a sack held under his left arm, a plough visible behind him to the left and an industrial factory complex with chimneys in the background to the right, evoking the worker-peasant alliance of the early Soviet era. The figure is rendered in bold relief against a proof mirror field with a beaded border. The curved legend ОДИН ЧЕРВОНЕЦ (ONE TCHERVONETS) arcs along the upper periphery. To the left of the central figure the inscription 100 ЛЕТ (100 YEARS) appears in two lines, and the date 1923 is inscribed along the lower field, commemorating the centenary of the original Tchervonets issue. |
