| Obverse description | Brown intaglio print on pale ground with intricate ornamental guilloche border framing the entire note. The Imperial double-headed eagle appears in an oval vignette at the top centre, flanked by elaborate foliate and scroll ornaments with the denomination numeral 50 repeated in the corners. The central panel carries the Cyrillic inscription ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ (Fifty Roubles) on a dark ground, with the title БИЛЕТА ГОСУДАРСТВЕННАГО КАЗНАЧЕЙСТВА above. The year 1912 appears in rectangular cartouches on both sides, and the lower portion bears the serial number, two manuscript signatures with their titles, and a banner noting the validity date of 1 August 1926 alongside the interest rate of 3,6%. |
