| Obverse description | An intaglio vignette of the ancient bronze statue of Ma'adkarib occupies the left portion of the note, rendered in olive-green tones against a multicolour guilloche underprint of pink, blue, and yellow. The bank title البنك المركزي اليمني appears at the top in Arabic script, with the denomination خمسون ريالاً in large stylised Arabic lettering at centre, flanked by the numeral 50 in the upper corners. Ornate geometric rosette cornerpieces frame the entire composition, and an authorising text with a facsimile signature appears in the lower centre field. |
