Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Abdulmecid I, rendered in fine relief with characteristic sweeping vertical strokes, looping horizontal bands, and intricate intertwined scrollwork at the base. To the right of the tughra, a decorative floral sprig or branch motif is positioned in the upper field. Below the tughra, the denomination inscription appears in Arabic numerals and script. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or toothed border depending on the variety, framing the composition with a consistent decorative ring.
