Reverse description The Afghan royal arms are displayed prominently in the center: a domed mosque with minarets, flanked by two crossed flags on staffs, all enclosed at the base by a tied wreath of wheat ears. Beneath the mosque, an Arabic inscription records the regnal year. The entire central device is encircled by a beaded inner border, with the wheat-ear wreath framing the arms from below and rising along both sides to the upper field. The reverse presents the state emblematic imagery in a heraldic, formal style consistent with Afghan coinage of the Zahir Shah era.
