| Obverse description | The right half of the obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of Abu Hariba Mosque, rendered in dark brown with fine architectural detail including its minaret and dome against a geometric underprint of multicolour guilloche rosettes in pink, blue, and green. Arabic calligraphic inscription of the denomination خمسون جنيهاً occupies the centre-left, above the issuer name البنك المركزي المصري at top centre. Numeral 50 in Arabic Eastern script appears in a decorative cartouche at lower right, with serial number and signature line below. |
