A detailed intaglio vignette of Al-Azhar Mosque occupies the right portion of the note, its minarets and dome rendered with fine line engraving against a warm guilloche background. The issuer name in large Arabic calligraphy appears at top centre, with the denomination in bold Arabic script at centre left, and the date and signature of the Bank Governor printed below. |
