Obverse description Octagonal notgeld token with a dotted border running along the entire periphery. The issuer's name PAUL STEINBOCK arcs across the upper field and SANDOW along the lower field, separated by small six-pointed stars at each side, all in raised Latin lettering. At center, a raised numeral 50 in large roman figures occupies the inner field, enclosed within a rope-style circular border. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, typical of private Kleingeldersatz issues of the German inflation era.

Reverse description Octagonal reverse mirroring the general layout of the obverse, with a continuous dotted border along the full periphery. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE arcs around the upper and lateral fields in raised Latin capitals, denoting the token's function as a small-change substitute. Three small stars appear at the base of the inner circle. A rope-style circular border encloses the large raised numeral 50 at center, consistent with the functional, no-frills typographic style characteristic of German World War I-era emergency coinage.
