| Obverse description | Green-toned notgeld voucher issued for the Halle an der Saale Notgeld Exhibition of November 1921, with a central vignette of the city coat of arms — a green shield bearing a red crescent moon and two six-pointed stars — flanked by two figures in traditional Halloren salt-worker costume, a man to the left and a woman to the right, set beneath a decorative arcade with draped curtains. The denomination '50 Pfennig' is printed in bold red numerals at centre below the vignette, with the legend 'Gutschein' in a cartouche directly above. Handwritten-style script inscriptions appear in the lower left and right panels, and a facsimile signature is visible in the lower right. |
