| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain outer border of raised dots running along all eight sides. Within this border, a secondary inner ring of beaded dots frames the central field, in which the large numeral '50' is prominently raised. The circular legend 'BRUCKD.-NIETL. BERGBAU VEREIN' arcs across the upper portion of the field, while 'HALLE A/S' appears along the lower arc, each separated by small floral ornaments. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, characteristic of German industrial emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
