| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark black and pale green on cream paper stock. The upper portion carries the issuer's trade name 'CARL DUDEN' in large decorative letterpress type set within an ornamental green guilloche arch with rosette and scroll motifs at the corners. Below, two horizontal green guilloche bands flank the legends 'Manufaktur-u. Modewaren' and 'LASSAN-ZINNOWITZ', followed by the word 'Gutschein' and the denomination '50 Pf.' in bold black numerals. A manuscript proprietor's signature in violet ink appears to the right of the denomination, and a serial number with series letter is printed in the lower-left corner; the printer's imprint 'A. & O. Hochstetter, Stettin.' appears at the foot. |
