Obverse description Blue and brown Notgeld note with the municipal coat of arms of Amtsbezirk Pinneberg centred between large brown numerals '50' on either side, above the inscription 'PFENNIG' in bold letterpress. The upper field bears the issuer name in Gothic script, with two facsimile signatures below attributed to the Finanzausschuss and the Com. Amtsvorsteher.

Reverse description Upper half carries a six-line patriotic verse in Kurrent script within a brown border, flanked by brown panels bearing the denomination '50 Pfg.' at left and right.
