Martin Chemnitz (1522–1586) is set against a dark ground with his coat of arms, flanked by Komponist Fr. Heinr. Himmel at left and Kanzler Johanes Weinlöb at right, both on red grounds. The denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" appears in large red Fraktur lettering across the lower margin.
