| Obverse description | Yellow-ground note with a decorative folk-art border of stylized clover (Kleeblatt) vines in green, the denomination '50 Pf' appearing in ornate script at left and right flanking the central text. The issuing authority is identified by the Gothic-script inscription 'Notgeld von Weddersleben' in the upper field, with the date 'Sept. 1921' and a facsimile signature of the municipal chairman ('Der Gem.-Vorst.') in the lower portion. A validity clause 'Gültig noch 1 Mon. nach Aufruf' is printed at lower left, indicating redemption within one month of official recall. |
