| Obverse description | Cream-toned notgeld voucher printed in black letterpress on yellow-ochre paper, with a circular underprint vignette at centre showing a multi-towered civic building, likely Frankenberg town hall. The denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is set in large decorative blackletter script across the middle of the note, above the issue place and date 'Frankenberg H.-N., 12. Nov. 1918'. The lower portion carries the authorising body designation 'Der Kreisausschuß:' followed by five manuscript facsimile signatures, with a validity clause at foot reading 'Gültig bis 6 Monate nach Friedensschluß'. |
