| Obverse description | Blue letterpress design on light paper with a fine guilloche underprint in pale blue. A red Prussian heraldic eagle vignette occupies the centre field, over which a dark blue cartouche bears the denomination legend "EINE HALBE MARK" in white serif capitals. The word "GUTSCHEIN" is set in large bold type at the top, with denomination panels of "50 PF" printed in each corner within ornamental oak-leaf frames. The issuer name, place, and date appear below the serial number, with three manuscript facsimile signatures at the foot and the printer's imprint "Wiesike Brandenburg" in small type beneath the border. |
