Obverse description An outer pearl border runs along the edges of the octagonal flan, enclosing a circular pearl border within which the municipal coat of arms of Weissenburg is prominently centered. The arms depict a fortified city gate flanked by two crenellated towers, all set within a heraldic shield. The circular legend STADT WEISSENBURG I/E arcs across the upper field, while the date 1917, flanked by two five-pointed stars, appears in the lower field between the pearl borders.

Reverse description An outer pearl border follows the contour of the octagonal flan, within which a rope-twist circle encloses the central field. The large numeral 50, denoting the denomination in Pfennig, is boldly struck in the center of the field. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE arcs around the upper portion of the rope circle, while three five-pointed stars are arranged symmetrically in the lower portion of the field between the rope circle and the outer pearl border.
