Obverse description Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border encircling the entire periphery. Within this border, a finer pearl circle frames the centrally placed municipal coat of arms of Stendal, depicting a divided shield with a helmeted figure at the dexter and three lozenge charges at the sinister. The circular legend MAGISTRAT DER STADT, reading from upper left, and STENDAL, reading along the lower arc, surround the shield, separated by small star ornaments at the base.

Reverse description Octagonal reverse with a continuous outer pearl border following the eight-sided contour of the flan. An inner twisted rope circle encloses the large, prominently struck numeral '50' in the central field, denoting the token's face value. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE arcs around the upper portion of the rope border, while three six-pointed star ornaments are evenly spaced along the lower exergual area outside the rope circle.
