| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border encircling the entire periphery. Within this border, a finer pearl circle frames the centrally placed municipal coat of arms of Stendal, depicting a divided shield with a helmeted figure at the dexter and three lozenge charges at the sinister. The circular legend MAGISTRAT DER STADT, reading from upper left, and STENDAL, reading along the lower arc, surround the shield, separated by small star ornaments at the base. |
