Reverse description The octagonal reverse is enclosed by a pearl rim following the coin's eight-sided contour. A circular rope or twisted-cord border occupies the central field, within which the large numeral '50' denoting the denomination is prominently struck in bold relief. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE (meaning 'small change substitute token') arcs around the upper and lateral periphery between the pearl rim and the rope circle. Three five-pointed stars are spaced at the base of the design outside the rope circle, serving as decorative stops.
