Obverse description Outer pearl border follows the octagonal flan perimeter, enclosing a circular beaded inner ring. Within the annular field between the beaded ring and the pearl border, the merchant's trade legend curves continuously around the circumference, naming the issuing firm and its three branch locations separated by floral rosette stops. The numeral '50' is prominently raised at center within the beaded circle, serving as the denomination indicator. The overall design is purely typographic with no pictorial device, characteristic of German Kleingeldersatz emergency token issues of the early 1920s.
