| Obverse description | Light green underprint of repeating 'NW 50' lettering fills the field, with a red border framing the entire note. At center, a blue oval band inscribed 'MUSTERSCHAU · LÜBECK ·' surrounds a detailed vignette of the Lübeck Cathedral with its twin Gothic spires. The Lübeck civic eagle coat of arms appears in the upper left and upper right corners, while denomination numerals '50' are set in black within framed squares at lower left and right. A broad red panel at the bottom carries the validity inscription in bold black letterpress, and three manuscript signatures appear along the lower margin above the printer's imprint. |
