Obverse description The obverse features the civic arms of Lüdenscheid in the lower field, depicting a crenellated town wall rendered in low relief. Above the shield, a raised fist clutching a hammer is shown centrally between the divided date numerals '19' and '18'. The upper portion of the field is dominated by two horizontal cartouche-style banners bearing the Latin-script legend 'STADT' above 'LÜDENSCHEID', both set within recessed rectangular frames with rounded corners.
