| Obverse description | Within an inner pearl border, the large numeral '50' dominates the central field in bold raised relief. A circular legend reading 'KOMMUNALVERBAND' arcs around the upper portion of the field, while 'LAUFEN' is inscribed along the lower arc, flanked on each side by a small decorative cross ornament. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, characteristic of wartime Notgeld emergency coinage. |
