A central pearl circle frames a Felsenkreuz (rocky cross) motif with the date 19 17 split across the lower portion of the inner field. The municipal legend LANDSBERG AM LECH arcs around the periphery, separated by five-pointed star ornaments. The design is executed in a plain, utilitarian style characteristic of German World War I Notgeld coinage. |
