| Obverse description | A richly illustrated Notgeld note in multicolour letterpress, dated 30. Oktober 1921, with a wreath border of oak and pine branches enclosing the central design. At centre, a vignette of a steel-helmeted soldier playing a violin amid flowing musical score ribbons, flanked on the left by a vignette of the Kriegerdenkmal (war memorial) in Eutin and on the right by a small roundel of Carl Maria von Weber, born 1786 in Eutin, with an orange vertical-stripe underprint behind the denomination and title inscriptions in Gothic script. At lower centre, a validity text panel reads that the note is redeemable at local banks until 1 December 1921, signed by the Vorstand des Kriegervereins, with the designer's credit 'Bruno Wolf-Eutin 21.' at lower left and the printer's imprint at lower right. |
