| Obverse description | A continuous pearl border frames the coin's periphery, within which the circular Latin legend reads STADT KELHEIM A. D., punctuated by a cross ornament. The central field depicts a frontal view of the Befreiungshalle (Liberation Hall), the neoclassical rotunda monument situated above Kelheim, rendered in low relief with its characteristic colonnade and stepped podium clearly delineated. The architectural subject is presented without a formal exergue line, occupying the majority of the field in a straightforward heraldic style typical of World War I German Notgeld coinage. |
