Obverse description Outer pearl border frames the octagonal flan, with the circular legend FLACHSSPINNEREI HIRSCHFELDE running along the upper arc and H.C. MÜLLER flanked by six-pointed star stops along the lower arc. An inner rope or twisted-cord circle separates the legend from the central field, wherein the large numeral 50 is prominently displayed in raised relief, denoting the denomination.

Reverse description Outer pearl border runs along all eight sides of the flan, enclosing a circular legend reading KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE around the upper arc, with three six-pointed star stops positioned along the lower portion of the annulus. An inner twisted-cord circle defines the central field, which bears the large numeral 50 in raised relief. The overall design is stark and utilitarian, consistent with emergency small-change token issues of the early Weimar period.
